Ramesh Jhawar’s passion for art was evident at a very early age. Born in a family of traditional merchants, he completed his graduation in commerce. However, the artist in him since childhood, grew exponentially and he finally took the brush seriously.
Over the years, he has developed his skills in the challenging medium of watercolors and has earned a name at both national and international level. His art has been featured in Pratique des arts, a popular French art magazine and also the International Watercolor Society’s catalog.
Ramesh’s paintings are realistic and mostly depictions of everyday life combined with the element of strong light and shadows. He has several national and international shows to his credit and his paintings are in many private collections in both India and overseas.
He presently lives and works as a full time artist in Bangalore.
